Privacy policy
Draft · to be reviewed before launch (TODO: Taher)
What this covers
This policy explains what roamstreak collects when you plan trips with it, why, and what you can do about it. roamstreak is a trip planner with game-style rewards; it never sells your data and shows no ads.
What we collect
- Your account: the email address you sign up with (or the one Apple or Google shares), a username and a display name.
- Your profile: home city and airport, travel styles, budget range, diet and the other answers you give during onboarding, plus your time zone for daily streaks.
- Your trips: destinations, dates, the itineraries you build and edit, saved places, packing lists and readiness steps.
- Your play: XP, badges, streaks, coins and the results of the mini-games.
- Product analytics, only after you opt in (off until you say yes, wherever you are) and never your email, name or messages (Profile → Privacy switches it off at any time).
Who processes it for us
- Supabase hosts the database and sign-in.
- Vercel serves the app.
- Anthropic generates itineraries from the trip details you enter (never your email or name).
- Google Places and Wikimedia Commons supply place photos; PostHog (EU) provides analytics.
TODO(Taher): confirm the list and add the legal basis for each (GDPR Art. 6) if the reviewed policy needs it.
Partner links
Booking links open the partner's own site in a new tab. roamstreak may earn a commission; it never handles your payment and does not see your booking.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. Deleting your account (Profile → Delete account) removes your profile, trips, saved places, play history and sign-in at once.
Your rights
You can see and change your data in the app, export your trips by asking us, and delete your account yourself. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object, restrict or complain to a supervisory authority.
